On Sunday, November 14, ATXKind invites the Central Texas community to stand in solidarity against hate at a rally for kindness, compassion, and inclusiveness.
After a recent spike in incidents of antisemitism, hate speech and racism, the Rally for Kindness is an opportunity to heal, get inspired and take positive action.
This grassroots event, created with the support of Shalom Austin and Anti-Defamation League Austin, will feature a wide range of speakers from different communities and faith groups. Students will display banners with positive messages, and attendees will learn more about volunteer opportunities with participating Central Texas nonprofits. Hate has no place here in Central Texas. We are stronger together!
Rally for Kindness Sunday, November 14, 2021 from 2 p.m. – 4 p.m. Texas Capitol South Steps (sponsored by Rep. Eddie Rodriguez)
Details: Attendees will hear from a variety of speakers from Central Texas organizations, including Shalom Austin, ADL-Austin, Central Texas elected leaders, Interfaith Action Texas, Austin ISD (including Anderson High students), and more.
